widescreen hdtv, home theaterThe New Orleans Saints came to San Francisco last night with the tools to leave with a decisive victory. The 49ers lost to the Seahawks uncharacteristically in week one and the Saints proved why they won the Super Bowl the year prior. I sat down in front of the widescreen HDTV for kickoff and watched up until halftime. It seemed apparent who had this game in the bag. On instinct I flipped the widescreen HDTV back over from the video game I started playing at half to the game. It was close. The football magic pulled me back in. By the fourth quarter each team was leaving everything they had on the field. Reggie Bush had been playing like a guy who deserved the Heisman trophy.

After a punt was swatted down, Bush leaped for the open ball. In the process he broke his fibula. I jumped up at the home theater when the staff had to come out to get him. He is one of my fantasy running backs. On the bench this week, he’ll be going back into the free agent pool today. It was a hard fought battle the Saints came away with by just three but it sucks seeing a great player fall over a widescreen HDTV.
