The surround sound speakers that my husband recently ordered online for our home theater system were a huge hit this weekend for the Halloween party that our oldest daughter had. My husband thought it would be a great idea to set up the surround sound speakers, but hide them so that if we used the home theater to play Halloween sounds that the kids wouldn’t know exactly where they would be coming from. The idea was to keep the house dark with lighting only coming from candles and jack-o-lanterns that we had around the house. We thought it would give it a scary feel to the house and I even found some spider webs that I hung from the ceiling to complete the look. My daughter was thrilled with the idea and she loved the way the scary sounds sounded on the home theater system. I think my husband liked that part as much as she did and the kids found the entire party to be a huge hit. I had cupcakes for the kids because I figured it would be easier than slicing cake and when they weren’t sitting in the living room they were out back by the pool. It was a fun night for all- us included.
